GREYHOUNDS OF THE VERDE VALLEY, INC.

More GREYT information...

Greyhounds of the Verde Valley, Inc. (GVV) is a 501C3 organization that began in January 2007 when we rescued two male dogs from the Tucson race track kennels- they were Peters Edgar who we renamed “Tucson” and Prima Sport that we called “Sport”.  Our mission was simple: place greyhound dogs in safe, love-able, forever homes as pets.

We also provide continuing support for our foster and adoptive families and their dogs with workshops and camaraderie.   Public education about the plight and the unique characteristics of the greyhound breed is another important goal for us.  And we promote and support other adoptive greyhound groups.
